That's awesome.
Now what's the plan?

Well, it sounds like your fuel system has been completely gone thru, and with good compression numbers, that kinda only leaves spark issues causing the misfire.

Are the coilpacks still heating up?

Oil in the puck could definitely cause problems.

Is the puck just a single sensor?  on a cam?  no crank sensor?

Can you adjust dwell angle?

When does the misfire occur?

I have a scope...

Fuel cell because racecar!

I saw your front-end setup, was interested to hear how it performs...

Adjusting your dwell setting should cool the coil packs.

What coils are you using?

Gauge cluster / gauges                                           - Yea, that would be important.
Install magnet inside gas door compartment             - Tape
Bleed rear foot brakes                                             -Easier with help
Fida wants to install a temporary dummy alarm light. - Remove battery?
Put the radio shroud in                                             - Lots of sharp metal pieces under there, good idea.
Foil tape the firewall/floor openings                           - That passes tech?

I might be able to help on Saturday...

Do you need help?

So UMS session yesterday went better than the first.   Unfortunately we forgot a fuse so we had to cut open the harness to trace out the vvt solenoid... to find we forgot a fuse....  now I'm gonna have to talk Fida into fixing it so it's still pretty.

Looks like the water pump is leaking above 6500rpm.  Gonna have to investigate that.   As well as fix another small coolant leak.

Car made 112hp and 98ft/lbs on pump 91 on Tony's DynaPack Dyno.  Engine revs fine with the new distributor in place and sounds healthy and mean.   It's far too loud.  I need to put atleast one muffler on it.   We did drop a cylinder on the last pull after we finished the Rev limiter and decel tuning.   Pretty sure I'm going to find a fouled plug, or a fried coil pack from riding limiter so much/so long.

It spits flames about 8-10" outthe tail pipe.    I'm pretty sure I have a 1:1 ratio between decibels and horse power....    meh.

That's about 135 hp at the crank.  Not too bad..

Glad to hear it finally runs.

When's its first track day?

I went on a run with the Datsun club to Bagdad a few weeks ago, and a South Mountain run with the MR2 club recently.

Nice weather for driving.

I'd be up for something after the holidays.

You have one of these?

Put a slot in your intake cam bolt and fab a bracket to hold this in front of it.

Plug distributor hole.

Isn't that a pretty tough swap?

The engine is tall, so you need to modify the crossmember,  you have to change transmissions.. etc.

Nice engine though.

lol   BBQ and gas fumes.

What could possibly go wrong?

Either day is ok with me.

I was hoping there would be more people besides just you and me.   ;)

Of course my van is missing the door check brackets.    So I pulled some off a van from a yard only to realize that the nuts drop inside the body once they are off and they are forever lost.    I'm not sure I'll even be able to get any back on in my van.    Looks like they get bolted on before the body is riveted together in the corners.   Sweet.

No pic??

I looked it up, it gives you 24 crank pulses and 1 cam pulse.

Isn't the 20v set up for 20 crank pulses and 1 cam pulse?

What inputs can the AEM use?  If you can choose the number of teeth on the trigger wheel, that opens up your options a lot.

It seems easy enough just to get a hall sensor (x2) and a custom trigger wheel.

..or the $35 VR convertor.

Don't wait 6 months...
