Swapping a 4age into an sr5 with engine harness only.
« on: May 30, 2014, 02:58:05 PM »
So I pretty much have a complete 4age motor with the engine harness as well, but no other gts harnesses. How much work am I looking at to swap it in my sr5? Anyone done it this way? I was thinking of running an inline fuel pump.

Inline pump or not you'd still need a return line plumbed somehow? Amongst other things...

Here's some good reading:

You don't need the gts dash or body harnesses, it doenst make it easier, because you have to take out the dash and the interior. All you need is the gts engine harness, and wire it in, I can help with that. The 4age install is straight forward.

I'm assuming I'm gonna need gts fuel lines or no?

Gts fuel lines and tank would be easiest but you can go external fuel pump with sr5 tank. Twincharger has this on his sr5 twincharged setup.
