Heat rises, so the upper hose is usually the hot water coming out of the engine.

After it goes thru the radiator, the water is cool and comes out the bottom hose and goes to the water pump.

That way the water pump won't get air bubbles in it.

It's supposed to work like that.

Awesome! Thank you! I did some research and it seems that 700 (+/-50)rpm is where its supposed to be. A couple more days should tell if everything really is solid. Can't wait to start buying things I actually want!

The shitty cold air intake that came with my car broke off and I was wondering, since you 86 guys mostly have ITBs instead, will not having it until I can afford to replace it do any real damage or will it just be less economical?

You need some kind of intake piping buddy. Itbs are a whole different story, and I have velocity stacks.

Yeah, I wound up replacing it pretty quick. I'm already having enough trouble without dust and bugs and crap getting sucked into my shit. Thanks.
