***Back Story***

I got a tip on a wrecked 84 corolla hatch back that the owner wanted to dispose of.  Sure enough, I drive to AJ to find this ugly green piece of turd.  The owner informed me that the car was in two frontal collisions, first very minor, second, not so much.   And that the head gasket blew.  I asked what he wanted for it, and the owner held up a signed title and told me to get if off his lawn by that night, and it was all mine.

so, naturally, I did just that, and immediately let the scavengers take what I didn't want or need.

The engine was inspected but what i found was not a blown head gasket.  I installed a new manual fuel pump and used a can or so of carb cleaner and she started up.  obvious vacuum issues caused it to idle really high, but the 4ac felt pretty good.   The problem wasn't a head gasket, but merely a leaking water pump.  I promptly sold the 4ac or $50 and got started on the chassis.

I stitch welded the engine bay, and added some reinforcement to the strut towers both up top, and down low.

Then the crazy hit....    Enjoy!

you sir are correct.  I highly highly recommend avoiding it tho.  I spent forever laying down a perfect door, rolled it into the sun for 20 minutes and it stretched and wrinkled.  so i just went ahead and used smaller, easier to work with pieces.  it looks like complete crap up close...  but it's purpose is to look crazy good on track and only on track.... so yeah....  race car cool...  street car bad....

also a pretty neat-o update should be coming soon. :)

So as some of you know my car has been "gone" for a bit...  what some of you may not know is that it's been down at Future Fabrication getting some stiff pipe...  she's such a slut!

And today I added my touch... *Thug Life Voice* Nooo Ruuusst  (primer)

Base Coat (Ford Bright Aqua Metallic)

Top Coat (Hampsten Green)

I need to repaint my RAWR BAR! cuz it got scratched up a while back anyway.

oh and teaser 2.0...  Motor is back on the stand...  Lets get ready for worlds slowest heart transplant.
