Hey jimmy, I'm actually familiar with this question since I was going to run the same thing. I also have experience rebuilding those( I had a jrsc kit on my d16 honda). Everybody I contacted that re applies teflon coating said that it will not come of with gasoline exposure. A few places said that if your coating was missing that is "could raise it's output by up to 2 psi if it was fixed". Mine had some of the coating flaked off and it pushed 7 psi all day. The only thing I would worry about is fuel puddling at idle while cold. When hot it should help evaporate off kinda like a swamp cooler causing slightly colder temperatures.
