where there is a wall, there is a way.
« on: March 16, 2012, 08:04:13 PM »
Here's my s14 build, I do not remember if I posted this on the old forum or not.

Heres the car, picked it up while I was in Mississippi while in tech school,

Heres how it looked right after i bought it ,
scooped it up for 1300 total, running, rebuilt KA, need new tires, thats about it.
this is my 3rd 240 (4th if you count a parts car)

lame grant steering wheel >.<

This one always had the base Guards either laughing or giving me shit at the gate and looking over my whole car like i was trying to smuggle drugs.

took a while to get a chance to rattle can the hood, finally said fuck it and did it in some parking lot me and my friend were skating. also replaced that nasty windsheild.

new steering wheel, hub, QR, shift knob, and SUPER JDM TITE DRIFT BUTTON

apexi power intake, to replace this lame POS that was on it.

Put on an Apexi n1 exhaust.

had to re-tap the o2 Bung, since the old one was striped and blocked it off.

Picked up some HKS coils for a great deal.

Grabbed these for cheap.
MHT blitz 03 reps 17x8 +30

Had to take off the wheels because I had some neogens in 16's and wanted to use them for a season.

yaay no more wheel gap!!
put on my coil overs

This is pretty much as low as i can go until I tucked the harness in the wheel wells.

Diff was a pain in my fucking ass.
One of the nuts that connects it to the drive shaft was already stripped too, had to end up taking a circular saw and hacksaw to it. eventually worked. after destroying my hands. I probally should have gotten stitches haha.

anyway heres a quick shot right after i lowered it

threw on the blitz reps for a while.

bought these before an event, got em all installed but didn't get time to align it
toe out like a motherfucker, had to fight the steering the whole event. definitely getting it done before cns.

One of the rear traction arms came in seized, ken @ enjukuracing.com replaced it no questions asked, just came in today.

i would HIGHLY recommend him and his store. awesome dude.
