Disconnect wiring, remove bolts.

Oh snap, FWD starters are on the intake side of the motor? There probably aren't many people on here familiar with that setup, but I'd just start removing shit until you get a clear shot at it lol

Disconnect your battery first.

1 10mm nut holds the positive wire on, one plastic clip holds a small wire for the solenoid.

2 bolts hold the starter to the transmission.

Try a socket with a loooong extension, coming in from the front (side) of the engine behind the supercharger to get to the bolts.

Just guessing.

I did one on a 4afe which has the starter in the same location.  It was a pita since the intake manifold is in the way, but I didn't have to remove anything except the air box/intake tube.  I imagine there's more shit in the way with the gze manifold and sc though.

Sorry man, the closest thing in my experience is the 4afe corolla project i have at home, but I've not had to do this just yet, nor does it have a super charger in the way haha. It's usually pretty difficult to get the wires off a starter in a cramped spot so just disconnect it from the battery, disconnect the bolts to the starter/trans and snake them out with the starter. You'll just have to step on the starter to loosen the wire from the side terminal lol or you can be fancy with a face or something... pfft  :P

Good luck man, sure you'll figure it out. Let us know what you end up doing so we get some shared knowledge!
