It isn't about power.

It is about the driving experience.

I'm old, I have had big power cars. Now I just drive/build whatever puts the biggest grin on my face. Rarely is that a car with huge power! I would rather drive a slow car fast, then a fast car slow.

The car is slow in a straight line, but every single person who has ridden it has the biggest grin on their face and talks about it for weeks. Even if their car has 2x, 3x the power.

I would be ecstatic if the car made 100whp with the engine that is in it.

Once the other engine goes in, I will expect 130-140whp.

Whoooh there cheese tits calm down You don't need a lot power to go fast but you do need enough to get you cookin an have fun. My close friends te72 was so slow could floor it all day. And Huck it around every corner flat foot and it was more fun to look at it lol

And you definitely are not old. 40 is old are you 40+?

And your smokin meth if you think either one of your hoopdies could touch my supra your 86 runs like crap!
You wanna start talking shit you better be ready to roll ill smash both of ya

Seriously?

Cheese-tits? lol. When did we go back in time to middle school?

Where did I ever say anything about racing you? I don't even see where you could contrive the reaction you posted from my post.

C-O-M-P-R-H-E-N-S-I-O-N, try it sometime. Whatever crap you two want to get into is between you guys.

You may want to put more effort into who you are actually responding to.

I am 33. But in car years I am old. I have owned 40+ cars, and the cars I have worked on/tracked/and built professionally cover 1923 - 2007.  Ask those who know me - I am not B.S.'ing. Can prove it all. I am old school, I am mentally/maturity probably 50+ years old.

That cool if you think power is everything, but I don't.  "Fast" is a relative statement, trust me.

Given this is my thread, and my car - you can take the cockiness/attitude elsewhere.

It doesn't impress me, nor does it warrant my attention. Go "smash" on everything you feel the need - I don't give a flyin' fornication as that isn't my thing.

One day you will learn character and class > attitude and ego.

Mark Twain once said "You can judge a Man's character by the adjectives he frequents in conversation." Think on that a bit.

If you feel the urge to continue along this line of conversation, take it elsewhere and refrain from cluttering up my thread with the B.S.

I am pretty sure there are a couple facebook groups that welcome ego/trash talking/"smashing" when dealing with 14 or 15 second cars that you would have better luck in.

Cleaned up the thread but left Mr. Marmots response because I was quite impressed.  I don't know the last time I have seen a properly thought out, worded and punctuated response on this board.
Why do noobs always call their hatch a hatchi but no one ever calls their coupe a couchi?

Just picked up a used alternator, a valve cover that has been modified to allow the cam gears to be visible, and a set of Toyota Coil-On-Plug ignition coils (it is an easy upgrade/conversion on Miatas.)

They appear to be 2003 Toyota Celica/Corolla 1.8 coilpacks . They are easy as they have built in tach outputs and igniters. On Miatas you just built a simple harness, and wire it into the stock igniter plug and they work. 80% plug in play.

The shadowdash is cool, I just need to build some way to integrate a tablet into my cluster haha!

I've seen this out at our meets sometimes lol, glad to get to know the car!

Did you root that tablet and run a windows emulator or is there a MS application for droid now?

ShadowDash is made for android, so you don't need any tinkering to get it to run.

I did go to the AZtoyota / AZDatsuns meet last month.

Other than that, it is always at the AZHT Wednesday meets.
